Li Sapori te nna Fiata

The 2025 edition

In 2025, "Li Sapori te nna Fiata" brought the historic center of Melendugno to life on August 2 and 3 at Piazza Mons. Durante (Piazza Rina Durante), with free admission. The event, organized by the Festival Committee and the Parish of Melendugno, featured two evenings dedicated to rustic Salento cuisine: frise with tomato, hot pittule, stuffed eggplant, horse meat stew, traditional desserts, and local wines.

Music also played a major role: on August 2nd, Makaria brought folk sounds and Salento rhythms to the square, while on August 3rd, it was the turn of ODIetAMO, featuring Carla Petrachi and Andrea Luperto, blending pizzica with modern influences. The program was completed by craft markets, workshops on rural culture, and activities for families and children.
