Edition 2025 — Lezioni di Ascolto

The 13th edition of Lezioni di Ascolto took place at the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone in Rome from October 30, 2024, to April 15, 2025. Seven evening sessions, curated by Giancarlo Valletta and Giulio Salvioni, guided the audience through the world of recorded music: from low frequencies to the birth of a record, from turntables to magnetic tape, and from streaming to the musician's perspective.

Lezioni di Ascolto 2024/2025 — 13th edition

The thirteenth edition of the series was held in Studios 2 and 3 of the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, with seven monthly sessions always at 9:00 PM. The cycle, curated by Giancarlo Valletta and Giulio Salvioni, explored the conscious enjoyment of recorded music.

The calendar included: Bassi che passione! (October 30, 2024), Come nasce un disco in two parts (November 19 and December 12, 2024, with maestro Stefano Greco and Giacomo De Caterini), Com'è fatto un giradischi (January 22, 2025), Il nastro magnetico sta tornando di moda? (February 26, 2025), Viva lo streaming (March 25, 2025), and Il punto di vista del musicista with maestro Danilo Rea (April 15, 2025). The ticket for each individual session was 5 euros.

All sessions at 9:00 PM.

Highlights

Concluding session with pianist Danilo Rea; the return of magnetic tape and vinyl; the birth of a record told by the protagonists.
