Edition 2025 — Boss of Valsesia

In May 2025, the Boss of Valsesia brought the stretch of the Sesia river and Sermenza creek between Scopa and Balmuccia to life with an international extreme kayaking competition, enthusiast gatherings, technical stands, and the traditional season-opening party organized by BossKayak and Monrosa Rafting in the province of Vercelli.

The 2025 edition of the Boss of Valsesia confirmed Valsesia as a European reference point for whitewater sports. Between Scopa and Balmuccia, on the Sesia river and in the gorges of the Sermenza creek, canoeists and kayak and packraft enthusiasts gathered for days of racing, descents, and camaraderie. The event, organized by BossKayak and Monrosa Rafting with the support of the Valsesia municipalities, featured industry brand stands, equipment testing, and the traditional season-opening evening party, laying the groundwork for the 2026 international edition.
