The Mantuan biergarten

In Levata, a hamlet of Curtatone in the Province of Mantua, the beginning of June means only one thing: Levata a Tutta Birra. Now in its thirteenth edition, this beer festival is a regular fixture on the Mantuan summer calendar, capable of attracting thousands of people to the Parco delle Meraviglie.

Beer and Bavarian cuisine

The absolute star is beer, in a selection ranging from German to Belgian to Irish: Steenbrugge, Delirium Tremens, and gluten-free options among the offerings. Accompanying it is a cuisine that blends Bavarian flavors with local tradition: pork knuckle, pretzels, piadina, pulled pork, hamburgers, hot dogs, but also Mantuan risottos and desserts. A menu designed for every taste, in the full spirit of a popular festival.

Seven evenings of live music

The music program is the beating heart of the event: seven evenings with tribute bands and cover bands dedicated to the greats of music, from Guns N' Roses to Pinguini Tattici Nucleari to Vasco Rossi, with DJ sets every Friday and Saturday. The Parco delle Meraviglie thus comes alive until late at night, with concerts, beer, and conviviality.

A solidarity festival

Behind Levata a Tutta Birra is the non-profit association Amici di Levata, which organizes the event, donating the proceeds to charity. It is one of those events that, in the Mantuan area, combine fun with solidarity, building community around a large park and plenty of good beer.
