Edition 2025 — Lercara Carnival

The 2025 Lercara Carnival celebrated its 41st edition with the theme "The Funniest Mask." The Municipality of Lercara Friddi published an official call for participation (deadline February 27, 2025), opening registration to individual masks, groups, and allegorical floats. Floats, masks, and dancers paraded through the center's streets amidst confetti and streamers, accompanied by the traditional Sfincia Festival.

Lercara Carnival 2025: The 41st Edition

The 2025 edition of the Lercara Carnival marked the 41st edition of the event in Lercara Friddi, in the Metropolitan City of Palermo. The chosen theme was «The Funniest Mask», around which competitions for masks and groups were organized. The Municipality published a specific call for participation, with a deadline for entries on February 27, 2025.

As per tradition, the program included the allegorical float parade through the streets of the center, masked balls, confetti, and streamers, in a popular festive atmosphere open to families and children. Providing the gastronomic backdrop was the Sfincia Festival, dedicated to the almond-filled fried pastry that is a symbol of Lercara tradition.
