Leporano Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Leporano Carnival enlivened the center of Leporano during the carnival days, with the highlight around Shrove Tuesday on March 4th. Amidst colors, costumes, music, and fun, the town on the Ionian coast of Taranto renewed its appointment with its masquerade festival.

As reported by the local press, the 2025 Carnival united Leporano and neighboring towns in an atmosphere of joy and participation, with Piazza Maria Immacolata transformed into an open-air stage for adults and children alike. A simple and heartfelt festival that confirmed the vitality of the carnival tradition in the territory of Taranto and in Apulia.
