Lemon Festival 2025

The 2025 Lemon Festival in Trappeto was held from August 15 to 17 on the Lungomare San Giovanni Paolo II, as part of the Estate Trappetese calendar.

The inauguration on August 15 at 5:00 PM opened the tastings of local products. In the following days, exhibition stands enlivened the seafront, leading up to the grand finale on August 17: at 7:00 PM, the traveling parade of Sicilian carts and folk groups, and at 8:30 PM, group dances and folk music with Cocciu D'amuri and Annacamuni Picciotti.

The initiative, supported by the Regional Department of Agriculture with a municipal allocation of 10,000 euros, aimed, according to Mayor Santo Cosentino, to enhance the lemon as a historic agricultural product and to promote the tourism image of the Municipality of Trappeto.
