Lavender Festival at Il Lavandeto di Assisi

The 2025 edition of the Lavender Festival took place on the blooming weekends between June and July, in the three-hectare garden of Il Lavandeto di Assisi in Castelnuovo di Assisi.

Visitors could walk among the fragrant rows, participate in guided tours, witness the distillation of lavender, and enjoy lavender ice cream at the refreshment points. On Friday and Saturday evenings, picnics among the rows, accompanied by live music, offered a magical experience at sunset, with the panorama of the Umbrian hills and the Basilica of Saint Francis as a backdrop.
