Laumellum — The Great Lombard Festival

The 2025 edition of Laumellum was held in Lomello on Saturday, September 13th. Throughout the day, the Lombard encampment showcased crafts of the era, from archery to metalworking, alongside armed combat and a tavern serving bread, salami, gorgonzola, fried potatoes, and beer. At 7:50 PM, the re-enactment of the wedding of Theodelinda and Agilulf took place, followed by the royal banquet at 8:00 PM (sold out, by reservation), then musical performances and the final fire games. The event also highlighted the millennium of the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. Free admission.
