Latin Festival Petralia

The third edition of the Latin Festival Petralia was held on August 29 and 30, 2025, in the historic center of Petralia Sottana, in the province of Palermo. The festival brought the village squares to life, from Piazzetta Municipio to Piazza Misericordia, with a packed program of concerts, dances, and DJ sets.

Highlights included the JFP Madonie Orchestra, concerts by Roberto Stimoli with "Armonia Viajera", the Boitatá Quartet, and the Fernando Fuman Quartet, as well as salsa and Brazilian folk dance performances by seven dance schools. The main evening featured special guest, the renowned trumpeter Fabrizio Bosso, in concert with the Alessandro Presti Sextet in Piazza Finocchiaro Aprile. The festival nights continued until dawn with DJ sets by DJ Yanez and DJ Andrea Scalici, featuring reggaeton, baile funk, and Caribbean rhythms. Along the main street, stalls offered Latin American and Caribbean culinary specialties. All events were free of charge.
