Edition 2025 โ Latin American Carnival
13th edition โ May 4, 2025
In 2025, the Latin American Carnival took place on Via dei Fori Imperiali, one of Rome's most famous axes, with the parade winding between the Colosseum and Piazza Venezia. Organized by REDCLA under the patronage of Roma Capitale, the edition brought together nineteen groups from the Latin American communities of the capital and the Lazio region, many of whom were accompanied by live bands on floats.
The official delegations of Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru each presented their own artistic performance, featuring Andean dances, feathered performers, and percussion. At the end of the day, the jury awarded first place to the Brazilian group, followed by Colombia and Bolivia. The edition confirmed the event as one of the most followed multicultural gatherings of the Roman spring.
