Lasagna Festival in Montenero d'Orcia

The 2025 edition of the Lasagna Festival in Montenero d'Orcia was held over two weekends, from May 23 to 25 and from May 30 to June 1, within the Patronal Feast of San Servilio. At the center of the festival, as per tradition, was the homemade lasagna topped with ragù prepared with ingredients from local farms, served at the food stalls of the ancient village.

The program combined taste, sports, and entertainment: in addition to evenings of music, theater, DJ sets, and card tournaments, the fourth edition of the Montene-Bike took place on May 25, a cycling tour with two routes through the Montenero countryside, followed by lunch at the festival stalls. Among the most cherished moments was the Pintata del Rotolo, the joust that saw the four districts of the village compete to win the banner. An edition that confirmed the community's strong bond with this festival of the Maremma Amiatina.
