The 2025 Christmas Market in Trastevere

The 2025 edition of the Christmas Market at Largo De Matha took place from December 1st to 26th, confirming the event in the heart of Trastevere. Now in its second year in this square, the market featured about fifteen wooden chalets with warm lights, offering only artisanal goods: nativity scenes, handmade Christmas decorations, traditional sweets, and gift ideas.

Promoted by the Municipality of Rome I Centre, the event was part of the Christmas programme that, in 2025, spread markets across various points in the centre, from Piazza Mazzini to the Testaccio Market. Free admission and a neighbourhood atmosphere made Largo De Matha a popular stop for residents and tourists during the Roman holidays.
