Edition 2025 — Reading Festival
The 3rd edition of the Lanciano Reading Festival, promoted by the "Don Milani" Comprehensive Institute, was held on May 9 and 10, 2025, at the Polo Museale Santo Spirito, with free admission.
The day of Friday, May 9, starting at 4:30 PM, hosted presentations of several children's books, including "Chi ha rubato i colori" by Lisa Marfisi and "Le avventure di Olimpia e del riccio Fritz" by Elfriede Gaeng, closing with an evocative sunset reading inspired by the book "Tu sei una meraviglia" by Kobi Yamada.
On Saturday, May 10, starting in the morning, authors and animated readings followed one another, including "Un pesce è un pesce" by Leo Lionni. In the afternoon, presentations continued until the grand finale with the awards ceremony for the "Critici del futuro" contest and the opening of the "Tu sei una meraviglia" exhibition, featuring work by the Institute's children and students.
