LanaLive 2025: (Re)claiming Space

The 2025 edition of LanaLive was held from 16 to 25 May in Lana (province of Bolzano, Trentino-South Tyrol) around the theme «(Re)claiming Space», a reflection on public space: who it belongs to, how it is experienced, and what function it serves as a place for democratic encounter.

Lana's covered market was transformed into a "theatre of the world" of ideas and visions, with artistic interventions, concerts, performances, exhibitions, and discussion forums. Among the most original episodes, the «Music To Go» project turned the railway line between Bolzano and Lana into a mobile stage, with local musicians performing live on board the train. The festival featured collaborations with local and international artists as well as the University of Siegen.
