Lambrusco and Spergola Festival

The 59th edition of the Lambrusco and Spergola Festival enlivened Albinea from June 13 to 15, 2025, preceded by a preview on June 6 with a guided tasting masterclass. On Friday the 13th, the stands opened in Piazza Cavicchioni ("Centolambruschi", "Connubi diVini", "Le cantine dei colli reggiani" (The wineries of the Reggio hills), "Le donne del vino" (The women of wine)) and the Osteria del Tirabuson at Piazzale Lavezza, followed by the official inauguration with the band and authorities, and the sixth "Best Lambrusco of the Festival" competition.

Saturday the 14th featured guided tours of the Communal Acetaia of Villa Tarabini, screenings dedicated to the UNESCO site, and in the evening, a concert by The Blue Cover at Frassini Park. Sunday the 15th, the closing day, offered the historical walk "Lionello Spada and Santa Maria dell'Oliveto", Spergola tastings paired with Parmigiano Reggiano, and the award ceremony for the competitions.
