Edition 2025 — Lago Maggiore Marathon

The 14th edition of the Lago Maggiore Marathon took place on Sunday, November 9, 2025, on a course from Arona to Stresa, recording a record-breaking edition with over 3,000 runners from 67 nations. A day of sport that confirmed the race as one of the most beloved and scenic marathons in the Piedmont lake district.

Lago Maggiore Marathon 2025

The fourteenth edition of the Lago Maggiore Marathon took place on Sunday, November 9, 2025, with over 3,000 participants from 67 nations along the shores of Lake Maggiore. In the men's marathon, Luca Pirovano triumphed in 2h34'02", ahead of Matteo Bernardini and Filippo Zuanon; among the women, the English runner Miranda Frizzelle won in 2h58'03", followed by Silvia Torricelli and the French runner Alexia Aboulin.

In the 33 km race, victory went to Matteo Lometti and the Spanish runner Reyes Astrain. The event, organized by ASD Sport PRO-MOTION, confirmed its international appeal and its bond with the Verbano-Cusio-Ossola territory.
