Edition 2025 — Laga Rural Villages in Crognaleto
"Together for the Earth, Together for Tomorrow" in Cesacastina
The 2025 edition of the Crognaleto stop took place on Saturday, September 27 in the hamlet of Cesacastina, on the first weekend of autumn, titled "Together for the Earth, Together for Tomorrow". Cesacastina, a sandstone village with a characteristic cross shape featuring the four districts of Colle, Villa, Mastresco, and Combrello, hosted guided tours curated by local Pro Loco volunteers, among the jewels inherited from history and stories linked to the geology of the territory.
The central moment of the day was the "passing of the water baton", a symbolic gesture dedicated to the value of this vital resource, designed to unite generations around a message of hope and environmental responsibility. The stage, part of the Laga Rural Villages Cultural Festival, confirmed the widespread and community-based nature of the event among the mountain villages of the Municipality of Crognaleto, in the province of Teramo, in Abruzzo.
