La Zobia - Historical Carnival of Fiorenzuola d'Arda

The 42nd edition of La Zobia, the historical carnival of Fiorenzuola d'Arda, was held on March 1 and 2, 2025, in the historic center of the town in the province of Piacenza. The coveted Palio was won by the float "4 Cantón" from Bar Paradiso. On the podium were also "Wolly Wonka and the 'cicciolata' factory" from Bar Kristel and "The circus of Omaira Orfei. The kids from Fiorenzuola" by Tatiana Acconciature. Following were the floats "Women celebrating... in Fiorenzuola" from Golden Bar, "Mastercess" from Locanda San Fiorenzo, "Monopoly of Fiorenzuola" by Nasty, "The outsiders" from Scacco Matto, and "Pudinsanes da stët" from Gabbia di Matti.

The program included "Schools in Zobia" and the Children's Zobia on Saturday, the evening float parade, the live show, and on Sunday, the afternoon parade, the DJ set, the awards ceremony, and the final commotion, following the satirical tradition entirely in dialect that characterizes this carnival of Emilia-Romagna.
