On Sunday, September 14, 2025, Paterno di Campli, in the heart of the Monti Gemelli in the province of Teramo, celebrated the historical re-enactment of the grape harvest promoted by the Villa Paterno nel Cuore cultural association. For one day, the village transformed into a living narrative: along an itinerant route in the historic center, all the stages of the ancient Paterno harvest were re-enacted, from grape picking to traditional grape treading and the boiling of the must for vino cotto. Historic cellars reopened to welcome visitors with tastings, Abruzzese folk music, and stories about the winemaking traditions of the area, in a day dedicated to the rural culture of the Campli region.
