Edition 2025 — Tagliagambe

In 2025, the Tagliagambe was not held: the historic time trial from Marciana Marina to Monte Perone, on hiatus since 2019, only returned in 2026 thanks to the efforts of A.S.D. Marciana Marina. The event remains one of the most anticipated appointments in Elban sports, with its 9 kilometers of climbing that can be tackled by bike, e-bike, or on foot.

The Tagliagambe, born in 2005 from a bet between friends, experienced a long break: the last edition before its return was in 2019. In 2025, the time trial from Marciana Marina to Monte Perone was not organized. The event, non-competitive and open to cyclists and runners, has always represented a moment of celebration for Elba Island and the province of Livorno, capable of attracting athletes from all over Italy and Europe to the grueling 9 km climb towards Monte Perone.
