Edition 2025 — La Scuccetta

In 2025, La Scuccetta once again enlivened Easter Sunday morning, April 20th, in Piazza Roma in Castorano. The traditional hard-boiled egg game brought together families from the Piceno village in a festive challenge open to all ages, from children to the elderly, in the spirit of Easter conviviality.

The 2025 edition of La Scuccetta was held on the morning of Sunday, April 20th, Easter Day, in Piazza Roma, in the historic center of Castorano (AP). As every year, the historic event saw participants compete by clashing hard-boiled eggs against each other, according to the rules passed down through generations in the Piceno region.

The game, simple and engaging, united children and the elderly in a festive atmosphere of yesteryear, confirming La Scuccetta as one of the most cherished events of Castorano's Easter and as a precious opportunity to strengthen family ties within the village.
