Edition 2025 — Piaja in Festa

The twelfth edition of La Piaja in Festa took place on Friday, July 25, 2025, in the harbor area on the Lungomare Giovanni Caboto in Gaeta. Organized by the Golfo Eventi Cultural Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Gaeta and the support of the Lazio Region, the evening featured a culinary village, live music, the extraordinary opening of the Roman necropolis of Calègna, and a grand final show, all with free admission.

The twelfth edition

On July 25, 2025, the Piaja district in Gaeta hosted the twelfth edition of the event. From 8:00 PM, the culinary village opened in the harbor area, followed at 8:30 PM by live music from the Lala Band.

At 9:00 PM, guided tours began with an extraordinary opening of the Roman maritime necropolis of Calègna, accessible until midnight. At 10:00 PM, the grand finale with Mario Ciacciarella Live — The Big Show, a performance featuring showman Jacopo Colella, the Urban Fit dance company, special effects, and a musical selection from the seventies to the two-thousands, concluded with fireworks.

Association president Giovanni Russo recalled the spirit of the event: not just entertainment, but an opportunity to celebrate the neighborhood's identity and share the beauty of Gaeta. Admission was free for all activities.
