Edition 2025 — La Pefana

In 2025, La Pefana returned to Montignoso on the night of January 5th-6th, renewing the Epiphany tradition with masks, music, irony, and wide-open doors. The square served as the hub for the evening, with entertainment from 8:00 PM until late, while masked groups roamed the streets among the welcoming open homes.

The 2025 edition of La Pefana confirmed the festival as one of the most cherished events in Montignoso and the Apuan Versilia. Masked groups enlivened the streets, bringing joy and wonder to homes that, as tradition dictates, threw open their doors with laden tables and warm drinks.

In this edition as well, the friendly competition rewarded the most creative groups and the most hospitable families, in a spirit of good humor and sharing. The square transformed into an open-air music festival, perfect for all ages.
