Edition 2025 — La Pascolata
La Pascolata 2025 - 4th edition
The fourth edition of La Pascolata was held in Introdacqua, at the Bosco Plaja of Fattorie Pingue, on the weekends of September 19-20-21 and September 27-28, 2025. The program opened on Friday the 19th with the "Shepherd's Dinner" and a comedy show by 'Nduccio, continuing with conferences on the protection of arrosticini and local products, the "Di Pecora" and "Cheesemaker for a day" workshops, the artisan market, and tastings of "La Pecora a lu cuttùr", "Shepherd's Wine", craft beers, and spit-roasted lamb.
Highlights included the free walks with the flock along the forest trails, the pecorino cheese competition - won by the Valle Scannese company from Scanno - and the photo contest, with over 70 entries and the victory of Rocco Spinetta. The soundtrack for the days was provided by the Abruzzese folk music of I Briganti della Majella. An edition that confirmed La Pascolata as one of the reference festivals for the agropastoral culture of Abruzzo.
