Edition 2025 — La Nueva Ola Capalbio

In the summer of 2025, La Nueva Ola also stopped in Tuscany as part of its travelling tour dedicated to Spanish and Latin American cinema. The festival, organized by Exit Media, offers screenings in the original language with Italian subtitles every year, bringing a selection of the most recent Iberian and Latin American productions to Italian cities.

In 2025, La Nueva Ola continued its travelling journey through Italy, confirming its status as the leading festival dedicated to Spanish and Latin American cinema. The screenings, in the original language with Italian subtitles, offered the public an overview of Spanish-language film production, including competition entries, previews, and meetings with filmmakers.

The festival's format, organized by Exit Media with the support of international cultural institutions, paved the way for the 2026 edition and the stop at the Teatro del Leccio in Capalbio.
