La Mitica — Vintage Cycling Event through the Hills of Serse and Fausto Coppi

The twelfth edition of La Mitica enlivened Castellania Coppi and the Tortona area on June 28 and 29, 2025. About two hundred cyclists in period attire, arriving from all over Italy and from France, Switzerland, England, Brazil, and Uruguay, chose between the three routes (55, 72, and 98 km). After Tortona, the longer tracks tackled the Rampina climb, while the Hors Catégorie also added the Sant'Agata Fossili climb. The event, valid as the seventh stage of the Giro d'Italia d'Epoca 2025, confirmed its role as a tribute to the Campionissimo and his brother Serse, combining sport, memory, and conviviality in the hills of the province of Alessandria.
