The third edition

On Sunday, August 10, 2025, Floresta hosted the third edition of La MangiaLonga, the gastronomic trail that guides participants through the narrow streets of the charming Nebrodi village to discover local products. The departure took place from Piazza Umberto I in staggered groups: the first group at 11:30 AM, then every 30 minutes until 2:30 PM, to avoid crowding along the route.

The participation cost was 20 euros per person, with discounts dedicated to younger visitors. Along the route, in addition to tastings of specialties linked to the agricultural and pastoral traditions of the area, there was an exhibition of artisanal embroidery and a roving exhibition. The event, organized by the Pro Loco of Floresta with the Municipality of Floresta, followed the prestigious 'Sagra di Eccellenza' recognition received at the Senate of the Republic in March 2025.
