La Grotta del Messia 2025
The 2025 edition of La Grotta del Messia, the eighteenth of the festival, took place in the catacombs of the Capuchin Friars of Castelvetrano (Trapani) on the evenings of December 14, 20, 21, 26, and 28, 2025, and January 4 and 6, 2026, with opening hours from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and free admission.
Organized by the cultural association La Perla Imperiale, led by Carlo Salluzzo, in collaboration with the Capuchin Friars, the nativity scene featured a route through approximately twenty expertly reconstructed settings and over sixty costumed performers. The day of Epiphany saw the arrival of the Three Wise Men in a procession, accompanied by the drums of the Castrum Veteranum group, marking the close of the event.
