Edition 2025 — La Due Regni
The 2025 edition of La Due Regni, the second of the event, took place on Saturday, 30 August 2025, in the municipality of Castelliri, in the province of Frosinone. The race, valid as an 11 km road race, started at 18:30 from Piazza Luigi D'Arpino, preceded by an afternoon gathering and registration.
The route, mostly flat but with the characteristic Collasturo climb, traced the ancient border between the Papal States and the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, passing by the stone boundary markers. About 140 athletes from 47 clubs took part in the event. Among the men, Pasquale Roberto Rutigliano (Bitonto Runners) won with a time of 38:28, while among the women, Annalaura Bravetti (Podistica Solidarietà) won in 45:58.
In 2025, the spirit of the event was also confirmed, dedicated to the memory of the runner Franco Bonavenia and concluded with a convivial moment featuring gastronomic specialities of Castelliri.
