La Direttissima — Cronoscalata verticale

In 2025, La Direttissima confirmed itself as one of the most challenging vertical uphill races in the Brescia area. The race, organized by ASD I Lupi Lumezzane, took athletes from the Church of San Giovanni Battista towards the slopes of Monte Sonclino, tackling an elevation gain of nearly 900 meters on a short and steep course. As part of the Brixia Vertical Series circuit, the event brought together uphill running specialists and amateurs, confirming the strong bond between the Lumezzane community, the mountains, and trail running in Val Trompia.
