La Città della Pizza 2025
The ninth edition of La Città della Pizza saw dozens of pizza chefs from all over Italy compete. The selections were held at the GARUM - Library and Museum of Cuisine, at the Circus Maximus in Rome, from April 14 to 16, 2025, with about 70 pizza chefs competing from thirteen regions, particularly Lazio and Campania, but also Veneto, Puglia, and Sardinia.
The nine best contestants earned their spot in the finale, which took place on September 14, 2025, at Piazza di Siena, at Villa Borghese, as part of Vinòforum. Up for grabs was the title of best pizza chef and a prize worth 4,000 euros, in an evening dedicated to the art of pizza in the heart of Rome, Lazio.
