Edition 2025 — La Chianina UBA
The first edition of La Chianina UBA was held from May 30 to June 2, 2025, in Marciano della Chiana, in the province of Arezzo, inaugurating the new gravel cycle-touring format of the Valdichiana.
On Saturday, May 31, the first stage crossed the south-west Valdichiana between Civitella in Val di Chiana, Gargonza, Monte San Savino, and Foiano della Chiana; Sunday, June 1 was the turn of the north-west part, between Pozzo della Chiana, Cortona, Montecchio, and Castiglion Fiorentino. Each stage offered two tracks: the Inguastita of about 100 km with 1,400 m of elevation gain and the Brinzellona of about 70 km with 1,000 m of elevation gain.
The evenings featured food stands in the square with typical dishes of the valley, from Chianina beef to pici all'aglione and wild boar, consolidating the event's spirit of community.
