Edition 2025 — La Castellana di Caccamo
The 2025 edition of La Castellana di Caccamo took place as per tradition in August, confirming the charm of one of Sicily's longest-running medieval re-enactments. The streets of the historic center of Caccamo, in the province of Palermo, served as the backdrop for the long costume pageant commemorating the arrival of the Lord of Caccamo and his consort at the Castle.
With ladies, knights, men-at-arms, and flag-wavers, the event once again featured the anticipated investiture ceremony, with the election of the Castellana and her two Maids of Honor and the symbolic presentation of the city keys. The event, organized by the Pro Loco of Caccamo, confirmed its role as a key identity event for the community and a tourist attraction for the entire Madonie area.
