Edition 2025 — Castagnata di Andalo
In 2025, the Andalo Valtellino chestnut festival took place on Sunday, October 19, at the Camillo De Rossi Sports Centre, with lunch of polenta taragna and afternoon roasted chestnuts offered by the Pro Loco to close the festival season.
The 2025 edition of the castagnata (chestnut festival) of Andalo Valtellino was held on Sunday, October 19, at the Camillo De Rossi Sports Centre. The local Pro Loco offered lunch based on polenta taragna followed, in the afternoon, by roasted chestnuts for all attendees. An autumn event that, as every year, brought together the community of the lower Valtellina, province of Sondrio, around the flavours of tradition.
