L'Étape Mondovì by Tour de France

The first edition of the event, still under the name Granfondo Alpi del Mare, took place on Sunday, September 21, 2025, in Mondovì, in the province of Cuneo. The event attracted over 2,000 participants from Italy and abroad, immediately confirming the Monregalese territory's interest in major amateur cycling.

The route, covering approximately 105 km with 1,800 meters of elevation gain, started at 9:30 AM from Corso Statuto, heading towards the hills of the Alta Langa and the Monregalese area, before concluding with a spectacular finish in Piazza Maggiore, in the historic district of Mondovì Piazza. The success of this first edition, accompanied by numerous side events, laid the foundation for the event's entry into the L'Étape Italy by Tour de France circuit starting in 2026.
