The first edition, September 25, 2025
The first edition of L'Alice di Anzio - Sea and Traditions Festival was held on September 25, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, in Anzio (Lazio). The cultural section, in Piazza Pia from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, featured the inauguration of the "Anzio of the 1900s" photo exhibition with the Anzio Landing Museum, testimonials from fishermen on anchovy fishing techniques, a speech by the Sailing Club on the evolution of boats, the Maritime League on preservation methods, and a masterclass by the Hotel Management Institute on oily fish, all accompanied by live music from Ronnie & The Midnight Ramblers.
From 8:00 PM, in Piazza Garibaldi, the food and wine area saw Anzio's restaurateurs offering signature seafood dishes, such as reginette with anchovies and pecorino and fried anchovy cones, with insights into DOP cheeses and Cacchione wine. Promoted by the Municipality of Anzio, the free event exceeded 2,500 attendees.
