Alba dei Marsi 2025
The 2025 edition of L'Alba dei Marsi brought more than 300 runners to Antrosano, in a blend of history, sport, and nature among the ruins of the Roman colony of Alba Fucens and the trails of the Sirente-Velino Park. Athletes competed on the two 12 and 21 km courses, with an organization described as a "perfect machine" and ideal weather conditions.
Winners of the long trail included Domenico Pace and Veronica Del Grosso, while Domenico Campitelli and Sonia Quattrocchi took the 12 km race. Alongside the competitions, there was space for the Alba dei Marsi Giovani for children and Archeotrekking, the non-competitive walk to discover the archaeological site. This edition marked the first event following the institutional recognition by the Municipality of Avezzano.
