Krampusumzug der Höllischen Pichl/Gsies

With the 2025 edition, the Krampusumzug in Pichl reached the milestone of its 20th anniversary, confirming its status as one of the most attended Krampus events in the Puster Valley. At nightfall, groups from South Tyrol and Tyrol paraded with hand-carved masks, furs, and cowbells along the route in the Unterplanken sports area, in the municipality of Gsies. A jury evaluated the performances based on dynamism, spectacle, stage presence, and authenticity, while Saint Nicholas distributed sweets to the children. Hot drinks along the route and an after-show party with music concluded the evening.
