Edition 2025 — Musikkapelle Sexten Concerts

In the summer of 2025, the Musikkapelle Sexten offered its usual series of free evening concerts at the Sesto/Sexten pavilion between July and August. The local brass band, in traditional costume, enlivened the summer evenings with marches, Tyrolean folk music, and concert pieces for residents and tourists vacationing in the Upper Puster Valley. In case of bad weather, the concerts were held inside the Haus Sexten. Admission was free for all evenings.

The 2025 edition of the Musikkapelle Sexten summer concerts confirmed a tradition rooted in the municipality of Sesto/Sexten, in the Upper Puster Valley (South Tyrol). Also in 2025, the band performed at the pavilion next to the Haus Sexten, with free-admission evenings dedicated to Tyrolean brass music, Alpine Volksmusik, and concert pieces. The performances, held in the early evening during the months of July and August, represented one of the most attended events of the Sesto summer, in an atmosphere of authentic village celebration at the foot of the Sesto Dolomites.
