Edition 2025 — Kites Festival

The first edition of Kites Festival was held on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the Pieve di San Vitale di Carpineti, on the plateau of Monte Leto. A day of colorful kites in the sky of the Reggiano Apennines, dedicated to the values of friendship, inclusion, and sustainability, with wind-powered installations and activities for families and children.

The first edition of Kites Festival took place on Sunday, May 25, 2025, on the plateau of Monte Leto, at the Pieve di San Vitale di Carpineti, in the province of Reggio Emilia.

The event, organized by Bailando por la Vida APS, brought a festival of rainbow colors with kites and wind-powered installations to the ridge of the Reggiano Apennines, designed to celebrate pluralism and inclusion and to offer families and children a day outdoors amidst nature and conviviality. The success of this first edition paved the way for the event's return in 2026.
