Kilowatt Festival 2025 — An Invincible Summer

The 23rd edition of the Kilowatt Festival was held in Sansepolcro from July 11th to 19th, 2025, titled An Invincible Summer. Directed by Lucia Franchi and Luca Ricci and promoted by the CapoTrave/Kilowatt Association with the support of the Fondazione CR Firenze, the festival offered 45 theatre and dance shows, 24 previews and national premieres, for a total of 54 repeats, as well as 9 concerts and 9 DJ sets.

The godmother of the edition was the dancer and choreographer Raffaella Giordano, who was the protagonist from July 11th to 13th of a series of events dedicated to her poetics. Among the national premiere novelties were works by Licia Lanera, quotidianacom, Menoventi, and Teatri di Vita. The program also included workshops, public meetings, and a free Summer School on performing arts and digital media, confirming Sansepolcro as one of the hubs of the contemporary scene in Tuscany.
