Keschtnpfonn — Chestnut Market

On Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, the center of San Genesio Atesino hosted Keschtnpfonn, the chestnut market that gathers local producers every autumn. Among the stalls set up in the Dorfzentrum, visitors were able to enjoy roasted chestnuts, wines and juices from local farms, desserts, and rustic cuisine specialties.

The event was part of the 2025 Chestnut Weeks, scheduled from October 9 to 26 on the Salto Plateau, featuring Törggelen and hikes through the centuries-old chestnut groves that define the municipality of San Genesio, one of the most chestnut-rich areas in South Tyrol.
