Edition 2025 — Keaton Dust Fest

The 2025 spring edition of Keaton Dust Fest was held on Friday, April 4, at the Cinema Elio in Calimera, marking the third Salento stop of the traveling festival. An evening of cinema, live electronics, and five local independent bands, featuring a documentary screening and sounds ranging from art rock to doom, celebrating the underground music of Puglia.

The spring 2025 Salento stop of the Keaton Dust Fest took place on Friday, April 4, 2025, at the Cinema Elio in Calimera (Via Montinari 32), starting in the evening. As the third edition of the festival in Salento, the evening was promoted by a network of local cultural associations, including Divagare (Lecce) and Mujmunè (Leverano).

The visual section featured the screening of the documentary Keaton Dust Fest (30 minutes) directed by Martina Passione, followed by the live electronics performance Sailing Through Silence – Memorie dall'estremo sud by Michele Di Martino (Rome), built on materials from an expedition to Antarctica and a reflection on the climate. This was followed by band concerts and a DJ set with punk selections.

Five groups from the local independent scene took the stage, spanning art rock, space rock, noise, post-punk, hardcore, and doom, confirming the festival's vocation to give a voice to the underground scenes of Salento and Puglia.
