Edition 2025 — KalataReggaeNight

The 2025 edition of KalataReggaeNight took place on August 25, 2025, in Calatafimi-Segesta, confirming the Trapani town as the Sicilian capital of reggae. The free-entry evening brought together some prominent names from the Italian and Sicilian reggae scene, with the usual organization by the band Shakalab and the local venue Il Chiosco. A night of upbeat rhythms, sound systems, and live music in the heart of the village.

KalataReggaeNight 2025

On August 25, 2025, KalataReggaeNight returned to enliven Calatafimi-Segesta, in the province of Trapani, with a new edition entirely dedicated to reggae and black music. The evening, traditionally with free admission, featured performances by Nico Royale, Forelock, and Shakalab, the Sicilian collective that serves as the historic soul of the event.

Organized by Shakalab together with the iconic local venue Il Chiosco, the evening confirmed KalataReggaeNight as one of the most anticipated events of the Sicilian musical summer, capable of attracting a young and passionate audience thanks to its vibrant energy and deep roots in the island's reggae and hip-hop scene.
