Edition 2025 — 450th Jubilee of the Sanctuary of the Holy Spirit
The year preceding the Jubilee
2025 represented for Gangi, in the Madonie, the year of preparation for the extraordinary Jubilee of 2026. The spiritual life around the Sanctuary of the Holy Spirit continued to mark the rhythms of the community, awaiting the 450th anniversary of the dedication of the place of worship.
At the center of the devotion remains the traditional Festival of the Holy Spirit, celebrated during the Pentecost period: the procession of over forty wooden statues and the evocative rite of the "Miracula" on the sanctuary's churchyard attracted faithful and visitors from all over Sicily again in 2025, confirming the identity strength of a tradition of over four centuries in the Madonie village, in the province of Palermo.
