The Jazz in Piazza festival returned to Cerignola on August 30 and 31, 2025, once again in the setting of Palazzo Fornari, with four concerts spread over two evenings. The event, organized by APS Sud Music and supported by the Municipality of Cerignola, confirmed its commitment to blending jazz, soul, and sounds rooted in Apulian tradition.
Opening on Saturday, August 30, was the Mare Nostrum Jazz Project, a quartet of Apulian musicians reinterpreting folk traditions in a contemporary jazz style, followed by the Michael White & Soul Brothers Band, with a soul repertoire inspired by Barry White, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, and Luther Vandross. Sunday featured the Antonio Simone Trio, with fusion and neo-soul sounds, and the voice of Patrizia Conte, winner of The Voice Senior 2025 and a conservatory professor.
