Edition 2025 — J-Fest Siena Jazz

In 2025, Siena Jazz once again celebrated the International Jazz Day on April 30th, established by UNESCO. True to its mission as the National Jazz Academy, the Sienese institution proposed a day of music, education, and outreach open to the city, confirming Siena as one of the reference hubs for jazz in Italy.

In 2025, Siena Jazz joined the International Jazz Day on April 30th, the anniversary promoted by UNESCO to celebrate jazz as a language of peace, dialogue, and freedom. In line with the vocation of the National Jazz Academy, the day combined moments of education, outreach, and live listening, involving students, professors, and enthusiasts.

The initiative represented an opportunity to bring the public, and particularly schools, closer to the history and language of jazz, confirming the role of Siena and Tuscany in the international network dedicated to this music and laying the foundations for the J-Fest project developed in subsequent years.
