Edition 2025 — Iu Fucaracciu
The sixth edition of Iu Fucaracciu took place in Alife on Friday, May 2, and Saturday, May 3, 2025, in the Porta Fiume area. The Friday evening was opened by a performance from the group Dance Tarantella, blending folk and electronic music. On Saturday afternoon, the procession with the wood bundles started from the Cathedral, followed by entertainment for children and the central moment: the lighting of the fire in honor of the Madonna del Latte, venerated through the 16th-century polychrome sculpture kept in the Cathedral. The festival concluded with a folk music show by Bottarte Thurambò and a grand finale of fireworks, confirming the vitality of a tradition that brings together the young and old of the Alife community.
