Italian Screens — Mediterranean Summit of Cinema and Audiovisual

2025 was the year for building the program of Matera Mediterranean Capital of Culture and Dialogue 2026, of which Italian Screens is a flagship project in the field of cinema and audiovisual. Throughout the year, alongside the official presentation of the calendar coordinated by the Ministry of Culture and the Matera-Basilicata 2019 Foundation, the summit was defined as a platform for encounters between the film industries of Mediterranean countries, in anticipation of its actual debut during the Capital year. The indicated date refers to the preparatory activities.
